Kunon is a "Kashiwa Keema Udon specialty restaurant."

It is made with our own blend of over 20 Japanese spices hand-ground on a stone mortar, and umaka herb chicken from Kumamoto. Please enjoy it thoroughly intertwined with our finely pounded udon noodles.

Open for lunch from 11am-3pm. Reservations are accepted only by phone on weekdays. Please enjoy the combination of "udon" and "curry" which has been loved in Japan since ancient times.

We offer a variety of alcoholic beverages unique to Kyoto. Kyoto's local beer, Kyoto Beer Alto, is a perfect blend of malt aroma and hop bitterness, and is a must for beer lovers. Kyoto is famous for its matcha (powdered green tea). Koyamaen's green tea is refreshing and a gentle palate cleanser after a spicy keema. We also offer a variety of other carefully selected drinks.

Store interior and space

The restaurant has a warm and relaxing atmosphere with a wooden interior, 12 seats on the first floor and 28 seats on the second floor, for a total of 40 seats, and a comfortable tatami room and sunken kotatsu on the second floor. The restaurant is a place that will please not only the locals, but also visitors to Kyoto.
